Affiliation: He is an interventional cardiologist and professor of medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Kapadia has been involved as principal investigator or co-investigator in numerous clinical trials related to percutaneous replacement of aortic valve, percutaneous mitral valve repair, LAA closure, carotid stenting, and PFO closure. Since 2004, Cleveland Magazine named Dr. Kapadia to its list of “Top Doctors.” Dr. Kapadia was the recipient of the Cleveland Clinic “Teacher of the Year Award” and received the 2006 “Innovator Award” from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
